I knew that 2014 was going to be pretty special. The locations were pretty special for a start – a wedding in the Lake District? Yes please! London, by the Thames? I’m there. Hazlewood Castle? It’s just up the road. Surrey? Berkshire? Bit of a drive, but I’ll cope…
But the places are only ever a fraction of the story. It’s the people in the photos who make it – the brides and grooms who might, possibly, be a little overwhelmed by it all, the mothers and fathers who’ll get you a toothbrush at midnight before your wedding day, the life-long friends who’ll fly across the world for you, the children who know nothing else but how to be themselves, and the grandparents who are just proud.
I’ve worked with children and animals. At the same time (seriously – horses, dogs, pigs). I’ve seen a wedding put together in 10 weeks flat. I’ve seen close friends get married. I’ve driven from north to south London in Saturday rush hour traffic, and made it with 5 mins to spare. And I’ve seen a lot of tears.
To everyone I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know, to everyone I’ve met and photographed, it’s been amazing. Thank you.

FABULOUS! Oh my word – so many individual images that I want to comment on but after looking at them all I don’t even know where to start so I’ll just offer you a big thumbs up and a grin and tell you that you’re bloody awesome. I cannot wait to see what you do in 2015. I have no doubt it will blow me away! x
