Picture the scene. It’s just turned 2016. Most people are still picking up the remains of party poppers, putting the Prosecco bottles in the recycling bin and planning which gym membership they’re going to use at least twice.
Jess and Ben rarely see each other. Due to work in different continents, they’ve only spent a few precious weeks together over the past year. So amongst the Christmas decorations, cards and fairy lights they get ready together. It’s something you rarely see in the world of weddings, and it’s a touching thing to witness. The grin on Ben’s face when he first saw Jess in her dress says it all…
Obviously it being January in Stockport, it was a bit wet. We had to dodge the rain at Deanswater Hotel and be clever with the group shots, but I don’t think anyone noticed. We celebrated like New Years Eve was months ago.
