As a wedding and portrait photographer I’m always encouraging people to get prints of their photos made. A collection of files on a CD or USB stick, or a folder full of images you downloaded is a good way to store all those wonderful photos. But you can’t pick up a folder and have a flick through it, or pass a CD around for your family to have a quick look at when you’re having a clear out (well, you can. It’s just not very interesting!)

So this just to let you know that I’m just as bad. I took these photos back in February, and they’re some of my favourites of the year. The light was beautiful, and the kids were actually playing with each other rather than arguing. Good times.

So get those photos off your phone or computer and send them off to be printed. Stick them in frames, give them to your family, or just put them in an album in the bottom of your wardrobe to be discovered in a few years time. And I promise to do the same.
