The simplest family holidays are the best. A beach, playground and a couple of days out. And the changeable British weather of course…
Back in April we all went up to Blyth (proper North) for a few days. The beach was beautiful, the days out fun, the evening’s entertainment….. well, entertaining.
We also ventured out to Alnwick Castle, as featured in the Harry Potter films. Obviously this gave the kids (only the kids you understand!) opportunity to play knights and wizards. Sword fighting and broom-stick flying ahoy! And yes, those broom sticks really were flying – no Photoshop involved!
