Sam and Anna - a sea-side engagement shoot in Flamborough

“I’ve brought some shorts. And we’re definitely going paddling!” enthused Anna as the heavens opened. Apparently the weather at Flamborough on the East coast is usually changeable, so I was holding out hope of blue sky breaking out in the next 10 minutes. Anna grew up in Flamborough, and Sam is originally from Bridlington, 10 minutes down the road, so it seemed like a great place for their engagement shoot. Sam was less convinced by the paddling.
We headed out to tour the scenery of this beautiful sea-side village. The North and South landings, and a quick stop off at the lighthouse, overlooking the rather impressive coast.
Yes, it rained, and yes we got wet. But true to her word, Sam and Anna went paddling in the sea. Apparently it was freezing, but they made it look warm and seemed to be having a lot of fun. But then the down pour started once more, and we ran to shelter in the car.
Thank you to Sam and Anna for being such great sports – it really was a fun few hours and I hope the resulting colds are worth the photos! Here are a few of my favourites…
