I keep using the word ‘autumn’ because I don’t quite believe it’s here. Was that really summer that just passed by? Either way, autumn is a beautiful time of year to visit Sherwood forest – it’s just down the road (ish) plus the colours and light really are lovely.
I also feel as though I’ve been neglecting my 50mm prime (or ‘stumpy’ to it’s friends) – I’d forgotten how nice this lens can be. The shallow DOF on prime lenses is always something special!
