It was quite telling that Kellie and Paul’s wedding was going to be a relaxed event when the only notes I’d made were the time of the ceremony. Oh and that the stag do was to be in Croatia.

The wedding was exactly as Kellie had described it – it was a celebration with friends and family, held in the village where she grew up, in the church next to her childhood home and the reception in the field next door. Relaxed and informal, but a real party. Kellie grew up on a farm, so the dogs were involved, and the chickens and horses weren’t that far away…

It was quite a bizarre site, seeing the whole village come out to watch Kellie walking to the church, with her Dad on one side and Sadie the dog on the other.
